How to Make Krispie Ice Cream Dessert

This dessert is a twist on the classic rice krispie treat. The ice cream is smothered in a crispy buttery layer.

This recipe is a perfect example of how you can take something very plain and turn it into something really special. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and fun frozen dessert that your family will love!

Crust

This delicious dessert has a crispy peanut butter crust that is filled with whatever store bought or homemade ice cream you desire! This is a great way to satisfy a sweet tooth and it’s easy to make.

In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, Karo syrup, and Rice Krispies cereal. Press the mixture into a 9″ pie pan and place it in the freezer.

Spread a layer of vanilla ice cream on top of the crust, using your hand covered with a sandwich bag or some plastic wrap to help evenly press it down and keep it as flat as possible. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of Rice Krispies on top of the ice cream.

Place a tight-fitting lid or tin foil over the dessert and place it in the freezer. This will help keep it as level as possible and will also be easier to cut.

Ice Cream

The perfect dessert for a warm summer day, this Krispie Ice Cream Dessert is made with a crispy layer of Rice Krispies cereal and melted white chocolate to mimic fried ice cream. It’s topped with creamy strawberry ice cream and garnished with whipped cream.

To make the crust, mix softened butter with brown sugar and Rice Krispies cereal. Spread half of this mixture in the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch pan.

Use your hand covered with a small plastic bag or the butter wrapper to press it down evenly, making it as flat as possible. Reserve 1 cup of the rice krispie mixture for the top.

Gently spoon the ice cream over the crisp, working quickly to prevent it from mixing up the bottom layer. You can also gently dip your spoon in hot water to help it glide over the ice cream.

Toppings

There are many toppings that can elevate an ice cream dessert. From fluffy whipped cream to hot fudge to sprinkles, there are plenty of ways to add flavor and texture to your favorite ice cream recipe.

One of my favorite ice cream recipes is Krispie Treat Ice Cream Cake. It’s made with Rice Krispies, melted white chocolate for crunch, and creamy strawberry ice cream. It’s a perfect summer dessert that you can serve to family and friends alike!

This recipe makes a fun no-bake treat that is easy to make for a crowd. The crust is a combination of softened butter, brown sugar, and Rice Krispies cereal. This mixture is spread on the bottom of a greased 913 pan and smashed with vanilla ice cream until evenly distributed and as flat as possible. The pie is then topped with the remaining Rice Krispie mixture and frozen until firm. Take the pie out of the freezer a few minutes before serving to make it easier to cut.

Freezer Storage

When it comes to ice cream, it’s important to be mindful of its storage and handling needs. The International Ice Cream Association recommends a few tips and tricks to keep America’s favorite dessert in top condition. These include using tub covers to protect ice cream from slops and drips, as well as can holders that accommodate the various sizes of ice cream containers.

It’s also important to make sure that your ice cream is at the proper freezing temperature, which is determined by reference to a frozen dessert chart. This will help to preserve its flavor, texture and overall quality. The most efficient way to achieve this is by using the right type of freezer for your operation, which can range from small countertop units to large walk-ins capable of storing a full container of ice cream. The best ice cream freezers are easy to clean and have features like temperature control and auto shutoffs that ensure your dessert stays fresh and delicious.
